Summer Fish Derby

The derby begins at 12:01 AM on Friday, July 16th
and ends at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 18th.

 

Registration hours:
Friday - 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Saturday - 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Sunday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Fish must be registered at Walsh Field.
Registration closes at 2:00 PM Sunday.

Prizes and awards begin at approximately
3:00 PM on Sunday, July 18th.

Bill Jartz, WBAY Action 2 News Anchor and the voice of the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, will be the MC for the awards ceremony.

NOTE: Catch of all fish must be witnessed. Only fresh fish in the round (not gutted) caught during the derby may be entered. Each fish may only be entered once. No snagged or gaffed fish will be allowed.

The weight in ounces will determine the winner. Judges may request a fish to be cleaned and a polygraph test to be taken if required.

In case of a tie, prizes will be awarded by earliest registration time.
The judge’s decision is final.


Derby Ticket Information

Derby ticket prices are $35.00 in advance, $45.00 after the derby starts. Tickets must be purchased and signed prior to fishing and must be presented upon registration of fish at the fish registration station.

Each individual in the boat is required to have a ticket.

Tickets are available in Two Rivers at Seagull Marina, Suettinger Hardware, Riverfront Beer & Liquor, and Patsy's Mobil Mart. Tickets are also available in Manitowoc at Louie's Sporting Goods, Manitowoc Marina, Popp's Harbor Town, and the 310 Mobile Mart.

Derby Festival Information:
Food, drinks, and games available all the time! 
50/50 raffles will run Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday afternoon, as well as raffles for prizes available to be seen on the grounds.  Prizes this year include local shop donations, patio set, fishing trips, and more!

Hosted by the Two Rivers Kiwanis and the Two Rivers Rec. Dept.  Registrations starts at 8:00 a.m.  Just show up, or contact the Two Rivers Rec. Dept. to register your child!

*Free t-shirt, drink, hot dog, ice cream, and worms for every child entered, as well as prizes for the top fisher-kids in each category.  Six to eight categories depending what is caught.
