Responsibilities:

  1. The Administration Committee is charged with reviewing all issues related to the governance of the Wisconsin/Upper Michigan District.
  2. The committee shall have specific responsibility for the programs and policies related to Achievement and Awards, Administration (clubs), Fundraising (clubs), International Convention, and Risk Management (clubs). In carrying out its functions the committee shall work with the appropriate regional committees.

Duties:

  • Working with the Trustee assigned to the committee—and with the appropriate Lt. Governors.
  • Using the Kiwanews, workshops at the Mid-Winter and District Convention and other means publicize the programs and activities related to its areas of responsibility.
  • Review the current District policies related to the areas of its responsibilities and recommend any needed changes to the Board of Trustees.
  • Review current structure for all standing committees and make any recommendations for changes by April 1, 2006.

The Community Services Committee is responsible for all programs and policies related to the areas of the District Foundation, Human and Spiritual Values, International Understanding, Trees for Tomorrow and the Worldwide Service Project. In carrying out its various functions, the committee shall work with the appropriate regional committees.

 1. Working with the Trustee assigned to the committee—and with the        appropriate Lt. Governors.

2. Utilizing the Kiwanews, workshops at the Mid-winter and District         Convention and other means publicize the activities related to its areas of responsibility.

3. Review all current District policies related to its areas of responsibility and make recommendations for any changes to the Board of Trustees.

Education and Marketing

Responsibilities:
The Education and Marketing Committee is responsible for all programs and policies in the areas of Communication, Web Administration, Marketing, Public Relations and Leadership Training and Development. In carrying out its responsibilities the committee shall work with the appropriate regional committees.

Duties:

  • Working with the Trustee assigned to the committee—and with the appropriate Lt. Governors.
  • Utilizing the Kiwanews, workshops at the Mid-Winter and District Convention and other means publicize the programs and activities related to its areas of responsibility.
  • Develop policies regarding the expansion of the District Web Site.
  • Work with the Governor and the Board of Trustees to establish Leadership Training programs for all district and regional leadership positions.
  • Assist all district and regional committees to develop public relations programs for all activities and programs within the district.
  • Review all current district policies related to its areas of responsibility and recommend any needed changes to the Board of trustees.

Kiwanis Family

Responsibilities
The Kiwanis Family Committee is responsible for the programs and policies related to the areas of Kiwanis Family Events, Aktion Clubs, Builders Clubs, Circle K, Key Clubs, Key Leaders, and K-Kids. In carrying out its responsibilities the committee shall work with the appropriate regional committees.

Duties:
1Working with the Trustee assigned to the committee—and with the appropriate Lt. Governors.
2. Utilizing the Kiwanews, workshops at the Mid-Winter and District Convention and other means publicize the programs and activities related to its areas of responsibility.
3. Review all current district policies related to its areas of responsibility and make recommendations for any needed changes to the Board of Trustees.
4 Working with the sponsored program administrators and provide support for the activities of these groups.

5 Working with the program administrators of these groups and develop new sites for the possible expansion of these programs.

The Membership Committee is responsible for the programs and policies in the areas of Membership Growth and New Club Building. 

Duties:

  • Utilizing the Kiwanews, workshops at the Mid-Winter and District Convention and other means publicize the programs and activities of the areas of its responsibility..
  • Review the current district policies related to its areas of responsibility and make recommendations for any needed changes to the Board of Trustees.
  • Be knowledgeable about Kiwanis International Policies and District Bylaws and policies regarding new club building.
  • Conduct site surveys and maintain an inventory of possible new club sites.
  • Working with the Governor and the Board of Trustees develop membership goals and programs.
  • Work with existing clubs that are sponsoring new clubs.
  • Develop reward programs for those members who sponsor new members and clubs that sponsor new clubs.

  3. Review all existing district bylaws related to its areas or responsibility and make recommendations for any needed changes to the Board of Trustees.

    - K. E. Y. stands for Kiwanis Educating Youth. Key Club is the high school arm of service in the Kiwanis family. It is also organized in the same manner as Kiwanis and Circle K.

    Key Clubs mainly serve their high schools and communities, with some emphasis on district and worldwide service.
